The Road to Becoming a Rockstar: Learn Guitar Songs
Have you been playing all day with your Guitar Hero? Or have you been banging your head along with the heavy metal songs you’ve been listening to over and over again? So, you think you can be a rock star bashing your fingernails on the strings of your guitar? Well, stop thinking and start learning. The guitar would be your best friend in the road to becoming your own rock star.
You want to play? Play the guitar like a pro. To learn Guitar Songs first of all you should have a guitar to meddle with. It’s never easy if you don’t have an own guitar to practice sing along.
The guitar may sometimes hate you and you may hate the guitar. But always remember; motivate yourself when you want to learn songs on guitar.
The second step in learning guitar songs is to know your chords from A to G, the flats and the sharps, the frets and strings and the basic strummings.
To learn guitar songs, you should know the songs you are playing well. Practicing all night long but don’t have any idea on what you’re playing on the guitar would purely become pointless, absurd, waste of efforts and every word to describe your senseless work.
It’s difficult for a first timer to play the guitar and sing along. So, be patient in learning. You must also be open to criticism because they serve as learnings and challenge in your way up to becoming the Guitar god.
In learning songs on guitar, you must practice a lot. You must practice holding the guitar and putting up callous on your fingertips. Stretching and fingering are some ways to make you better in manipulating your weapon to the kingdom of rock stars. Practice on critical chords such as F, B, Bm and chords that allow hard pressures on the string and making your finger reach far frets. A tip for making your fingers grow fond of the stretching-finger chords is to put the neck of your guitar in between the thumb and your point finger, put the neck of your guitar on the next two pairs of fingers and so forth until it reaches the pinky finger. You can also start practicing your finger placing and the right pressure to put on the string especially to the pinky finger which is normally the weak one. Repeat these exercises before practicing the real thing.
To learn songs in guitar, you should never hesitate your capabilities in guitar playing. Practice songs that can be easy to be played. Play songs that have easy chords such as G-Em-D-C and A. A lot of songs start with chords like those.
The road to becoming a rock star has never been easy but its better when you enjoy the experience of becoming one. In learning song in guitar, you should love the music that is coming out from every strums and every pluck you do. So, if you’re up to jamming already try playing this on your guitar.
